Corrected PLace Value Posters

I noticed that I goofed on the symbolic form poster so here are the corrected posters. They will look different when you download them.

  6. Thank you for sharing.

    My coworker and I came up with a similar idea using sentence strips. I have them at school so i don't have a picture. But, we took a strip and folded so it was like stairs. So, unfolded it would look like this:
    __ 0 0 0 + __ 0 0 + ___ 0 + ___ (we go to a 1000)
    So, the + signs are all folded ontop of the 0s (hiding them). The ___ are the parts that are showing when folded. We laminate it so we can reuse. The we write numebr on the ___ and unfold to help with place value and expanded form.

    (I don't blog so its probably very confusing, but I was excited to share with someone:))
